A vest, skirt, sleeves, and tie set.
This costume is designed to look like Hatsune Miku’s clothing.
The vest is made from a slippery grey synthetic fabric. A thin teal ribbon is positioned between the lining and outer shell to peek out at the hem, the armholes, and the collar edges as a design detail. The vest closes in the front with five hook and eyes.
The skirt is a simple pleated black skirt with about two inches of teal fabric sewn onto the bottom. The skirt is fasted with a center back zipper and a hook and eye at the waistband.
The sleeves are separate from the other costume pieces and are each made from six basic pieces. The four black pieces are shaped to create the flared silhouette, and the lower teal piece is added at the bottom of the sleeve much like the teal detail of the skirt. The top teal piece is a casing that contains elastic to hold the sleeve on the arm.
The tie is made from the same teal fabric that makes up the skirt and sleeve details. It is handsewn.
